Devlog #1: The Idea
One evening I've been watching YouTube in search of inspiration and came across this video by Artalasky
(don't worry, I won't be posting videos in russian every devlog post :D)
(and, yeah, I'm russian, so please correct me if I typed something wrong according to english rules)
I've found myself stuck in pixelart and this three-colored stuff on 5:17 really caught my eye. "Of course! I should use less colors and make a simplier art" - I thought to myself. But... what do I draw?
So I've struggled with this thought for a few days and came up with nothing more complex than a hacking game. I started to draw aaaaand..
Voila! One evening and I feel myself much better now :)
In process I've came up with a basic ideas and mechanics of the game:
- You are a hacker (duh)
- Your target is sensitive or compromising data
- You must breach into the system, steal it, escape uncaught
In the beginning of the game there's no anti-viruses and anything but the further you get - the more expertised users you will find :)
And so the development started!
I feel like I won't leave it unfinished like my few previous projects (that had drown me into a creative block for a long time)
Breach, Steal, Escape
The game about knowing the Cyber Safety Rules well... or you may end up like your victims

Also, the "Key Data" sounds bad. Maybe I should use something better to describe the %THING% you need to collect to breach the system?
nvm that, I just got rid of the naming xD
